ATP rankings: Davidovich Fokina up to a career-high No. 13

Thirteen. That is where Alejandro Davidovich Fokina now stands in the ATP rankings, up 13 places from 26, a career high one place past his old best of 14 and an entry into the top 20.

The 27-year-old was No. 26 at the previous ranking and is now No. 13, the move coming from his run at Shanghai. His earlier best was 14, reached in November 2025, so this is a new ceiling rather than a return to an old one. It also gives Spain a third player in the top 20, up from two.

Behind him the list moved in several places. Arthur Gea, 21, climbed 12 places from 56 to 44, a career high and a first step into the top 50, where Sebastian Baez (53 to 49) and Thiago Agustin Tirante (54 to 50) also arrived. Alexander Bublik, 29, rose from 22 to 19 and into the top 20, which brings Kazakhstan into it as well. Lower down, the Challenger circuit did some of the lifting: Damir Dzumhur, 34, won the Olbia Challenger and jumped 20 places from 103 to 83. Mattia Bellucci, 25, rose 18 places from 86 to 68, while Coleman Wong (101 to 92) and Jenson Brooksby (102 to 99) joined Dzumhur as new names in the top 100. The falls were as sharp: Valentin Vacherot dropped from 14 to 32, and Arthur Rinderknech slid 28 places from 33 to 61, the biggest drop of the week.

The top of the list stood still. Jannik Sinner stays at No. 1 without having played, his week empty, and he leads Alexander Zverev by 880 points. Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz keep Nos. 2 and 3, so the top three are unchanged. The only movement inside the ten was small: Flavio Cobolli up to 6 and Felix Auger Aliassime down to 7, Alex De Minaur up to 8 and Frances Tiafoe down to 9.
