The men have no Grand Slam singles champion or finalist to point to. Max Mirnyi, nicknamed The Beast, topped the doubles rankings in June 2003, and Ilya Ivashka owns 1 tour singles title, but the singles record stays modest.
The women carry the country. Aryna Sabalenka holds 4 Grand Slam titles, the 2023 and 2024 Australian Opens and the 2024 and 2025 US Opens, with 24 tour titles in all. Victoria Azarenka won back-to-back Australian Opens in 2012 and 2013 and reached three US Open finals. Before them, Natalia Zvereva reached the 1988 Roland Garros final.
