Sixteen years and six months. That is how old Kristina Liutova is, and Memphis was the first WTA tournament of her life. Ranked 229, she came through qualifying, and on Sunday she beat Darja Vidmanova 1-6, 6-1, 6-3 in the final: the youngest champion on tour since Coco Gauff in 2019, at the first attempt.
