3 boys' singles major titles define Venezuela's best junior year: Nicolas Pereira won the French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open in 1988 and was named the ITF's junior world champion. He turned it into a senior career of 2 tour titles, including on the grass at Newport in 1996, the month he reached a career-high world No. 74.

No. 26 is the high point of the women's record, the ranking Maria Vento-Kabchi reached in 2004 across a career that brought two fourth-round finishes at the majors. Milagros Sequera's 1 WTA singles title came at Fes in 2007. Garbine Muguruza, the 2016 French Open and 2017 Wimbledon champion, was born in Caracas but built her entire career under the Spanish flag.
