The men's line runs through Balazs Taroczy, a clay specialist who won 13 tour titles, reached a career high of No. 12 in 1982 and made the Roland Garros quarter-finals in 1976 and 1981. Marton Fucsovics carried the modern flag with 3 titles, a rise to No. 31 in 2019 and a run to the 2021 Wimbledon quarter-finals, the best Hungarian men's major result of the era. Istvan Gulyas added 2 titles in the amateur years.
On the women's side, Andrea Temesvari reached No. 7 in 1984 and won 5 tour titles. Agnes Szavay also took 5 titles, climbed to No. 13 in 2008 and made the 2007 US Open quarter-finals. Marie Pinterova leads the count with 13 titles, and Timea Babos, a singles No. 25 in 2016, won 3 of her own.
